Swim/Run Series

Every summer the club puts on a series of informal and fun swim/run training sessions. These are run once a month on a Wednesday evening from Badminton School swimming pool, and are open to any club member. The distances are 400m swim followed by a 5km run around part of the Downs. This gives you the opportunity to practice your 'race-pace' 400m, transition and then 5km run. It is all timed for you, so it is useful benchmark to measure your ability and improvements throughout the season/year. In addition, it gives you that all-important time to give to race organisers when entering a sprint distance - as they always ask for your 400m swim time!
