Open Water Swim Sessions

Open Water Swim Sessions

BAD Tri's open water swim sessions at Henleaze lake will be starting on May 7th. Sessions will run every Sunday morning from 9:30-11:00 until the final session on September 10th. You can book into a session on the bookings page and you're free to use the lake as much as you want during the hour and a half we have use of it.

These sessions would not be possible without the help of volunteers. The Lake committee asks that we provide at least one non-swimmer each week to take the register and check that everyone leaves at the end. This role is filled by a loyal band of volunteers and we would like YOU to join them!

We try to put two people on each session (and then you can both have a swim too if you fancy!) We should need you for no more than a couple of sessions a season per volunteer. Really no hardship, when you can swim too IF we get enough volunteers.

Possibly the most pleasant way to spend a Sunday morning in a beautiful place, drinking coffee (BYO) and chatting to fellow athletes.

If you'd like to help, you can volunteer by submitting your name and selecting available dates on this Doodle poll. Alternatively, you can offer up your time by contacting coaching through the website. All help is gratefully received.
