Swim-run series 2017

Every summer the club puts on a series of informal and fun swim/run training sessions. These are run once a month on a Wednesday evening from Badminton School swimming pool, and are open to any club member. These are generally on the second Wednesday of the month through the summer. The distances are 400m swim followed by a 5km run around part of the Downs. This gives you the opportunity to practice your 'race-pace' 400m, transition and then 5km run. It is all timed for you, so it is useful benchmark to measure your ability and improvements throughout the season/year. In addition, it gives you that all-important time to give to race organisers when entering a sprint distance - as they always ask for your 400m swim time!

If you don't fancy entering, we very much welcome people to help marshal. We need you! If you do want to help, please email us via the "Volunteering" drop down choice on our Contact Us page or just show up at Badminton Pool for ten past seven on the night.
