We need Lifeguards - Please consider helping!

As you will be aware, we have 10 (winter) and 11 (summer) club swim sessions each and every week. Fortunately at all but the Wednesday evening session at Badminton School, the swimming locations we use provide us with lifeguards. Lifeguarding at the Wednesday session is provided on a voluntary basis by members of the club. We currently have just three qualified volunteers, which means we struggle on occasion for the lifeguard cover that is a requirement of our insurance which enables this session to go ahead.

Would you like to volunteer to lifeguard at these sessions? As is the case with all our qualified volunteers we can offer support for gaining and maintaining the necessary qualifications. If you are a qualified lifeguard and would like to volunteer or you would like to obtain your qualification to enable you to volunteer please contact coaching through the contact us section of the website .
